4. Overview of SHAC - Marsha Fishbane, MD
   Minutes: Dr. Fishbane introduced members of the School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) Executive Committee; reviewed the current bylaws; and provided a brief overview of the student survey that will be discussed today.
   
   Dr. Ronald Romear reviewed the questions from the student survey from SHAC and summarized the results which were sorted by elementary, middle and high school.
   
   SHAC Recommendations:
   Peer Counselors
   Single School Culture
   School-based teams
   
   Judy Klinek reviewed the resource cards that are being passed out to middle and high school students.
   
   Board Members discussed: children not going to their parents for advise; negative experiences; peer counselors for parents; parental support groups; ambassador program; teen crisis line; website on resource card; and keeping kids engaged in school.
